This is the fourth bounty of the MPC8610 Open Source Mainboard Initiative. The main aim of this project is to create an open source mainboard based around the Freescale MPC8610. Work on this bounty cannot be started until the step 1, step 2, step 3 and step 4 bounties have been completed.
Software development and developer seeding will be supported by projects on PowerDeveloper. Upon completion of the design and prototypes, individual approved projects will be turned into Bounties. Once funding for a board for a developer is committed, the developer will receive the board. Any further money put into the Bounty will be given to the developer upon successful completion of the Project.
Important Note to Donors:
Depending on the total amount of donations that will be raised, it is possible that not all parts of the MPC8610 Open Source Mainboard initiative will be assigned and completed due to insufficient funding. Please do not donate unless you accept the risk that the mainboard bounty might only be partially completed.
